Hola! Welcome to my blog, it’s an honor to have you on my site. I started this project in 2012 as a purely personal blog, though have since waded into the lifestyle and travel realms. Primarily composed of random thoughts & recipes, travel stories, and Barcelona tips, my blog was a source of inspiration and joy years ago, and I’m excited to get back into it! Born in Dallas, Texas – raised in Lincoln, Nebraska – and living in Barcelona since 2013, I am a sensitive soul with a passion for new places, quality humans, and southern food. I believe that drinking coffee is appropriate at any hour of the day, and that minds are better used when open.

Hi Emily! Sorry for the late response on here — had gotten away from my blog for awhile but now getting back into it! I still live in Barcelona – have been here now for the last 3.5 years (yes, spent several months at home when I was last writing as I was getting my Spanish work visa sorted out).
